A final Christmas song for this year. Here is Freddie Mercury and Queen performing “Thank God It’s Christmas”. The song is an original, written by Brian May and Roger Taylor. It was released as a single in the UK in November, 1984, but not released on any Queen studio album, appearing only on Queen’s Greatest Hits III. It was on the first “Now That’s What I Call Christmas” compilation album, released in 1985. Wrongo likes it for its lyrics:
Sample Lyric:
Oh my love we’ve had our share of tears
Oh my friend we’ve had our hopes and fears
Oh my friends it’s been a long hard year
But now it’s Christmas
Yes it’s Christmas
Thank God it’s Christmas
Sure sounds like 2017!
